THEY'RE HERE!

My friends from FL arrived on time with all of their luggage on Friday night, PTL! Saturday morning, we headed for Agra to see the Taj Mahal. After 2 hours on the road we had brake trouble and were delayed on the road for three hours. The tour company sent another vehicle, and a different driver. We had grown fond of "Lovely." Virginia started getting sick to her stomach about 9 and by the time the replacement vehicle came we made the decision to send her back to the hospital to get some fluids. You just don't take chances with dehydration. She insisted we go on. Floyd stayed with her. She's doing fine now and has been given the medical clearance to travel up here, just a day behind us. We had a great but short trip to the Taj. It was a l-o-n-g day, taking 8 hours to get there and 4 1/2 to get back. The ladies are in my home now, and Virginia and Floyd should arrive by 5:00 pm by private vehicle. Cliff is ff with RM taking a tour of our state. Our weather has been perfect! It's a sunny Monday morning and the ladies are off to shop for suits and stuff. This is an easy day to adjust to the altitude. They crashed pretty early last night and all slept well. Pictures to come. Gotta get going! Thanks for lifting us up!!!!!

  1. So glad to hear Virginia is doing better! Your post will be read to the Book and Bible study groups tomorrow. I have spoken with Robin G and M/M Robbins. We had storming rain on Sunday morning. Dr. Mark said (being from drought stricken Texas) that he hardly recognized the sound of the rain pounding on the roof. Attendance was down but you could hardly get in and out of a car without getting soaked at church time. Still, good preaching and good music = great Sunday!
